Last night at the Prime Minister's Export Awards 2003 function at the Trinidad Hilton, Claudia Pegus was nominated as the Top Female Owned/Managed Export Company. The function was hosted by TIDCO and RBTT jointly. Claudia Pegus was the only female who received an award at the function. On behalf of the company Claudia Pegus Designs Limited I wish to extend my sincere thanks to all that have contributed towards the visibility and endorsement of the brand.

Nov 2003 Fashion Show at 'Jungle Fever'

Claudia revealed part of her new collection at the recent fashion show 'Jungle Fever',
the all inclusive section of Poison's 2004 Carnival presentation. Several past and present
beauty show contestants were present among the many guests.
Claudia will be present at the Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica from Nov 6th - 9th 2003.

Our website www.claudiapegus.com features pieces from The Resort Collection 2003 shown at Caribbean Fashion Week 2002, which was hosted in Kingston, Jamaica. Featured on the site is a fashion spread written by Novia McDonald-Whyte of the Jamaican Observer highlighting the collection. 

Between now and April there will be some interesting updates highlighting our upcoming collections and international events. 

In February look out for us on the cover of the She magazine featuring Miss Super Model of the Caribbean in a gown designed for one of the contestants at the Ms. Trinidad & Tobago/Ms. Universe Pageant. A mock sample of the cover can be viewed on the site (view). The gown was subsequently sold to a special client and worn at the famous Cotton House Hotel Old Year’s night dinner and dance in the exotic island of Mustique! Another magazine featuring the Resort Collection 2003 in its premier edition, is Shacbeau, a new fashion magazine coming out of Barbados. 

On 22nd March, we will be showing our 2004 Evening Collection in Miami at the Miami Fashion Week and on 6th and 7th April at the New York Fashion Week.... Big break for us in March also.... We have been asked to dress a major Hollywood actor at the 2003 Image Awards in Los Angeles.... In addition, in April we will be back in Mustique showing to a selected audience at the prestigious Cotton House Hotel. In May we should be showing in both Washington and St. Lucia at the famous St. Lucia Jazz Festival. 

Trinidad Carnival will be on 3rd and 4th March and each year two collections are produced for the carnival season. The premiere collection for the local clientele and the second collection for the foreign divas, who incidentally comprise about 85% of our total clientele, specifically targeting summer 2003. Unfortunately these collections will not be hosted on the site as the 2004 Evening Collection for Fashion Week of the Americas will be completed in early March and we would prefer to highlight that as much as possible. 

The collections are sold in Mustique, The Bahamas, Martinique, Barbados, Antigua, St. Vincent, Grenada, St. Lucia and Tobago. Private orders are done for clients in London, Germany, California, New York, Miami, Washington, Aspen, Toronto, Jamaica, Mustique, Bermuda and St. Lucia.
